“Jason, Man, Your New Album Sucks”: Jason Aldean Hits Back at Haters, Supports Wife From Internet Backlash

Country star Jason Aldean and his wife are certainly no strangers to online critics. Recently, the couple hopped on social media to clap back at “haters” after Brittany Aldean faced backlash on an Instagram video she posted.

A former NBA cheerleader, Brittany Aldean recently offered her fans some insight into her life as a makeup artist and lifestyle blogger. In an Instagram reel posted Wednesday (April 23), massive boxes of outfits put together by her Los Angeles stylist arrive at the Aldeans’ lavish Nashville home.

“let’s not talk about the shipping bill,” Brittany Aldean wrote in the caption.

By the next day, the reel had garnered nearly 800 comments. While many enjoyed the peek into Brittany Aldean’s closet, others felt that putting such extravagance on display seemed a bit tone-deaf in the current economic climate.

“Now a video showing how you help people with your money,” one Instagram user commented.

The next day (Thursday, April 24), the Aldeans addressed the criticism in a two-minute video posted to Brittany’s Instagram story. Sitting beside his wife, Jason Aldean periodically nods as she addresses “unnecessary, rude” comments.

“I just wanted to hop on here and talk to you guys about the reel that I posted yesterday, which was basically having a stylist from L.A. and then living in Nashville, and I was showing you guys the behind the scenes of that whole process,” Brittany said. “Which, a lot goes into that, and I just know what I like to watch on other people’s pages. And so a lot of times I think that you guys are interested, and a lot of you I know are.”

She continued, “But there’s some people that are just so hateful in everything, and I don’t know. I guess I’m just so busy in life that I don’t have time to hate on people like that. It’s just not my personality, either.”

“You Just Have To Take It for What It’s Worth”

Weighing in, Jason Aldean said, “Ultimately it’s your page, and you show your life, our life, what we do, and if people like it, that’s cool. There’s a lot of you guys out there that are supportive and cool, and then there’s also a fraction of people out there who are just a–holes and say, like, the most inappropriate, stupid s—.”

Later, the “Try That in a Small Town” crooner added, “They even say crazy s— like, ‘Jason, man, your new album sucks,’ stuff like that. Crazy stuff. So you just know they’re out there. You just have to take it for what it’s worth, miserable people, but we got some cool ones. Thank you guys.”
