How Ozzy Osbourne Accidentally Let a Bus Full of Tourists Into His House

Ozzy Osbourne has a lot of hilarious tales, alarming tales, and absolutely horrifying tales. We all know that Osbourne has lived far more than just nine lives, as his career and lifestyle prove that to be true. Other than the lifestyle proving this fact, the lifestyle has also provided the greater canon of rock and roll with some of the best stories of all time. Though one of the better Ozzy Osbourne stories doesn’t involve any nefarious activities or rebellious acts.

Ozzy Osbourne has always been an open book, as he’s detailed every major fact of his life in full. That being so, the man is no stranger to admitting his mistakes, and he did so in an interview with Howard Stern on The Howard Stern Show back in the day. Though unexpectedly, the mistake didn’t revolve around a life-changing decision. Rather, it simply revolved around a bus full of tourists and an unaware Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne Mistakes a Bunch of Tourists for His Children’s Friends

In short, Ozzy Osbourne accidentally let a bunch of tourists into his home, thinking they were friends of his children.

“I’m in my house, and my house is like a shopping mall, and at the front door, the kids are always running in and out…” Osbourne told Stern. “So it’s a sudden after morning and the doorbell goes off. I go, ‘Who the hell is at the door?’”

Not thinking anything of it, Osbourne decided to let the people at the front door come in.

“Now, listen, I’m thinking it’s the kids for some kids to see my kids, right?” Osbourne continues. “And, I’m sitting there watching the television, and you know, ‘Oh what’s this now.’”

Subsequently, Osbourne stated, “‘Go in! Her room’s upstairs on the left.’ And [the tourists] go, ‘This guy’s really cool, man.’”

When they came in, Ozzy Osbourne noted that he was “standing there in [his] jockeys scratching [his] a—.” So, if you thought the funniest Osbourne stories only surrounded his wild party days, then you’re sadly mistaken.

Osbourne is just a walking ball of humor, even if it isn’t always on purpose. However, it seems the majority of people are never laughing at him. Rather, they are laughing with him. Because at the end of the day, you never know what story or trick Ozzy Osbourne has up his sleeve. He is truly one of the more entertaining figures in the history of rock music.
