Vince Gill is, without a doubt, one of the most loved voices in country music. Turn on any country radio station anywhere in the world, and you probably won’t have to wait very long to hear some of his greatest hits. That being said, there are a few standout charting hits from Vince Gill that are absolutely unforgettable, and they probably won’t leave the country music radio rotation for many, many years. Let’s take a look at a few examples! You might just hear your new favorite Vince Gill song on this list.

1. “Tryin’ To Get Over You”
“Tryin’ To Get Over You” was recorded back in 1992 and released in 1994. It’s a stunning little country tune from I Still Believe In You, and it’s not exactly surprising that the song was a chart-topping hit.
Fun fact: “Tryin’ To Get Over You” was Gill’s last no. 1 hit single until a little over two decades later when he finally hit the charts again for his collaboration with Chris Young titled “Sober Saturday Night” in 2017.
2. “Whenever You Come Around”
This has to be Vince Gill’s most well-known tune. If not, it’s certainly the first Gill classic I ever heard myself. “Whenever You Come Around” is a gorgeous co-writing effort between Gill and Pete Wasner. It’s so good, in fact, that the one and only Willie Nelson covered it in 2014. Naturally, this song made it to no. 2 on the Hot Country Songs chart. It even made it to the Hot 100 with all the other pop jams.
3. “If You Ever Have Forever In Mind”
This 1998 hit from Gill is one of many standout singles from The Key. “If You Ever Have Forever In Mind” has a ton of accolades, too. It reached no. 5 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, made it to no. 1 in Canada, and nabbed a Grammy Award for Gill. It’s somehow classy and modern (for the 90s, at least) all at once, and it has aged quite well through the years. This one’s always on the radio.
4. “Feels Like Love”
Vince Gill’s time in the spotlight didn’t end in the 90s, and this radio hit from 2000 is just one of many gorgeous songs he produced in the new millennium. “Feels Like Love” is a great single from Let’s Make Sure We Kiss Goodbye. It made it all the way to no. 6 on the Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, and it’s still got a lot of staying power.
