Not every artist can stick out in the touring life in their elder years. Many opt to retire from the road once they hit a certain age. However, there are a few artists who just can’t seem to settle down. Check out three legendary artists that are still touring in their eighties and nineties, below.

Willie Nelson (92 years old)
In 1980, Willie Nelson told us that he just couldn’t wait to get on the road again. He has certainly lived up to that claim. Nelson, the oldest entry on this list of musicians still touring after 80, is heading out on the road at age 92. Given he earned fame later than most of his peers, it only stands to reason he would want to make up for lost time.
Playing alongside a fellow legendary artist, Bob Dylan, Nelson has plenty of tour dates set for 2025, obliging his countless fans in the U.S. Find his run of stops here.
Buddy Guy (88 years old)
Buddy Guy’s influence on the guitar community is unparalleled. He has inspired countless subsequent musicians. But Guy isn’t just a source of inspiration, he’s still a touring musician at 88 years old. The artists who count Guy as a hero have the honor of playing alongside him in today’s music scene. Not many trailblazers have the same track record.
Though he doesn’t have quite as many tour stops as Nelson this year (and his touring life is coming to an end), there are still a couple of opportunities to see Guy on the road. Find Guy’s closest tour stop to you, HERE.
Smokey Robinson (85 years old)
Smokey Robinson is not only still touring at age 85, but he’s doing it with an unparalleled energy and gusto. Robinson is making his presence known on the world’s stage, decades into his lauded career. His latest music is just as potent as the work in his heyday, proving that age doesn’t disqualify you from popular music.
Robinson has a handful of dates left in 2025. Find a chance to see Robinson and his electrifying performances, HERE.
