Set to be held at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 3, the annual concert will feature an exciting mix of country and rock music.
“Mitchell Tenpenny and Nickelback appearing at the 2025 Concert for Legends will create an atmosphere of energy and a fun environment for fans,” Jim Porter, president & CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, said in a press release. “We are extremely excited to bring these acts together on the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium stage.”
When Nickelback was announced as the show’s headliner back in March, Porter had an equally thrilled reaction.
“We’ve announced great acts across the history of the Concert for Legends. To host a show with the legendary band Nickelback brings an immense amount of joy to the team at the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” he said. “This concert will be a high-energy, powerful way to cap a great weekend.”

The Concert for Legends is just one part of what the HoF calls Football’s Greatest Weekend. Before the concert, the weekend will kick off with the 2025 Hall of Fame Game. The game will see the Los Angeles Chargers face off against the Detroit Lions.
The following day, the Enshrinees’ Gold Jacket Dinner will be held. Then, on Aug. 2, New class members Eric Allen, Jared Allen, Antonio Gates, and Sterling Sharpe will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The weekend will close out with the highly-anticipated concert.
Before Tenpenny heads to Ohio for the show, he has other performances scheduled across the country. The “Drunk Me” singer is set to play shows in Texas, California, Nevada, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Delaware, West Virginia, Illinois, and even Canada.
As for Nickelback, the band has a busy summer. They’re hitting the road for concerts in Arkansas, Alabama, Canada, Kentucky, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and South Carolina, all before the Concert for Legends in August.
