Ashley Cooke Performs “Friends in Low Places” With Her “Greatest Friend” Jelly Roll at Wisconsin Show

With less than five years spent in country music, Ashley Cooke wasted no time gaining popularity in the genre. Already releasing two studio albums, the country singer collaborated with stars like Nate Smith and Jackson Dean. Her latest album, Shot in the Dark, hit shelves back in 2023. If that wasn’t enough, she kicked off her 2025 tour that had her traveling all over the country. Recently, Cooke performed in Wisconsin and decided to offer fans a special treat when she welcomed Jelly Roll to the stage.

Over the last few weeks, Jelly Roll apparently learned how to bend time as he was practically everywhere. He appeared on WWE, hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and even shared a song with actor Kevin James. Embracing his stardom, he somehow ended up in Wisconsin alongside Cooke.

While the singer made headlines when he chokeslammed Logan Paul through a table, he took a gentle approach when he performed “Friends in Low Places” with Cooke. With the crowd soaking in every second, the pair even got them to sing along with them. A special moment for not just the fans but also Cooke, she captioned the video, writing, “We’ve got some good friends in Wisconsin… and the greatest friend in Jelly Roll.”

Gaining thousands of likes, fans couldn’t get enough, with some demanding a collaboration. “We need a collab asap.” Another person added, “I like how you have matured over the last couple of years to be the most country singer. No matter what city you are in, the audience always joins in with you. Singing. You make the audience feel at home.”

Jelly Roll Performed Song Consisting Entirely Of Negative Comments

For Jelly Roll, he loved getting the chance to sing “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks. But when performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he revealed a new song that consisted entirely of negative comments.

Although a top name in country music, Jelly Roll had more than a few critics. Deciding to give them the spotlight, he said, “I’ve never been the one to let my haters get me down. So tonight I’m going to debut my brand new single, and this entire song is going to be made up of comments that people have written about me online. Y’all want to hear it?”

Kicking off the song, the lyrics included, “Being forced to listen to Jelly Roll against my will, and it sucks / I used to hate Jelly Roll. I still do / Bro! It’s way too God damn early to be listening to Jelly Roll / Bro, Jelly Roll sucks so much butt.

Learning about the dark side of fame, Jelly Roll had more than enough support behind him, like Cooke.
