The camp hosts an immersive, hands-on songwriting weekend led by #1 hit songwriters, producers and acclaimed industry professionals. 

Dasha is a breakout country artist whose viral hit “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)” launched her from self-funded beginnings to global success. After writing over a thousand songs as a songwriter-for-hire, she emerged as one of the genre’s most compelling new voices, blending authentic storytelling with anthemic hooks. With a major label deal, sold-out tours, and a rapidly growing fanbase, Dasha is quickly solidifying her place in country music’s next generation.
Sam Hollander has had multi-platinum success writing and producing for the likes of Panic! At The Disco, One Direction, Def Leppard, blink-182, Weezer, Katy Perry, Train, Jewel, The O’Jays, Fitz and the Tantrums, Carole King and Ringo Starr, amongst many others.
Tushar Apte is a multi-platinum, award-winning songwriter, producer, and composer based in Los Angeles. His credits span global hits for artists including BTS, BLACKPINK, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, and Benson Boone, with work totaling over 3.5 billion streams. Known for his genre-spanning versatility across pop, dance, R&B, and film/TV, Apte is also a leading voice in music technology, collaborating with top brands and pioneering projects at the intersection of sound design and AI-driven music innovation.
Stephanie Davenport is an A&R executive at Warner Music Group, where she works with both developing and established artists to shape creative direction and long-term career growth. Her work includes supporting and developing artists such as Ian Munsick, Randall King, Madeline Edwards, and Austin Snell, as well as contributing to projects involving Blake Shelton, Cole Swindell, Cody Johnson, and Kenny Chesney. Known for her sharp ear and artist-first approach, Davenport plays a key role in translating creative vision into impactful releases.
Ashley Maietta is a music executive at Savage Music Publishing, where she works closely with songwriters and creative partners to support catalog development, creative strategy, and long-term growth. With a background rooted in artist and songwriter advocacy, she is known for her thoughtful approach to nurturing talent and building meaningful, sustainable careers.
Scott Graves is an industry A&R veteran with experience at Warner Music, Sony Music, and Virgin, and currently serves as a publishing executive at Savage Music Publishing. He has worked with and helped develop artists including Josh Ritter, Brendan Benson, Langhorne Slim, and Lenka. Graves leads Savage Music’s A&R efforts and the Between the Lines songwriting camp, fostering collaboration among writers, artists, and producers through an artist-first approach.

The third installment of Between The Lines is scheduled for July 24-27, 2026 at Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN.

Previous camp destinations include The Catskills, NY (Emerson Lodge) and Nashville, TN (Virgin Hotel). 

The camp is seeking talented songwriters, producers, and lyricists who have already developed the skills to compose and produce their own music and collaborate effectively with others.

Applicants must complete all required questions and submit three (3) original songs they have written or co-written.

⚠️ Applications submitted without music or lyrics will not be considered.

All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experienced songwriting professionals. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status shortly after submitting their application.

Accepted applicants will receive a direct link to secure their camp seat through registration and payment.

Writers Studio

  • Three (3) complimentary days in Writers Studios – $750 value (Note: to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates)
