Carly Pearce Shares Health Update, Asks for “Prayers and Good Vibes” Ahead of CMA Fest Appearances

Last year, Carly Pearce shared that she had received a diagnosis of pericarditis. Since then, she has been working hard to ensure that her health won’t stop her from performing for her fans. Recently, she revealed a new health issue that directly impacts her ability to sing. However, she’s not going to let it stop her from taking the stage during CMA Fest this weekend.

Yesterday (May 4), Pearce took to her Instagram stories to share a health update with her fans and followers. “I’m still dealing with this very frustrating vocal strain and would appreciate all the prayers and good vibes that I can get back to 100%,” she wrote in the post. Then, she shared some good news. “Thankful for the voice doctors helping me feel back to myself again. I’m ready to SING.”

This is particularly good news because Pearce is slated to perform during CMA Fest this weekend. Additionally, she’ll attend several fan-focused events. This Friday afternoon (June 6), Pearce will host Carly’s Wine & Sign with Conundrum Wines at Acme Feed & Seed. Saturday afternoon, she’ll host Carly’s Closet, a pop-up shop benefiting the CMA Foundation at Music City Center. Later that night, she’ll perform at the Spotify House before joining Rascal Flatts at Nissan Stadium.

Carly Pearce Shares Important Health Advice

Earlier this year, Carly Pearce shared more information about her health journey. “A lot of doctors dismissed me, and I was persistent until I got a diagnosis,” she revealed. She also shared some important advice to anyone dealing with health issues. “I think my biggest piece of advice for anybody is listen to your body and be your own advocate.”

Unfortunately, her pericarditis symptoms could come back at any time. As a result, she’s doing all she can to stay healthy. “I’m still just kind of on a health journey in general, just to continue to hope that this recurrent pericarditis isn’t recurrent,” she said at the time.
