Country Star Is Releasing a New Song Recorded at David Bowie’s Old Studio—and He “Hopes You Guys Don’t Hate It”

If his most recent tour truly was “Quittin’ Time” for Zach Bryan, the alt-country phenom is going out with a bang. Following a string of sold-out shows in Dublin, Ireland, the “Pink Skies” crooner, 29, is currently headlining another pair of capacity shows at London’s BST Hyde Park 2025. And somehow, between all that life performing, Bryan is still finding time to make new music. The Grammy nominee just revealed he has a new song coming Monday, June 30, that he recorded at the legendary David Bowie’s former studio.

In a Saturday (June 28) social media post, Bryan used a photo of himself playing at London’s Islington Assembly Hall in 2022 to announce his latest song, “Streets of London.”

“hope u guys don’t hate it, recorded it at bowies old studio across the pond with my best friends,” he wrote in the caption.

While the U.S. Navy veteran did not specify the venue’s name, London’s Trident Studios is one possibility. Between 1969 and 1974, the Thin White Duke recorded six albums at the Soho studio, including 1971’s Hunky Dory and the following year’s The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Apparently, Zach Bryan popped up at the Turnpike Troubadours’ Friday (June 27) gig at Islington Assembly Hall, three years after taking the photo. “Full circle is a f—in understatement,” wrote the “Revival” singer.

Zach Bryan Has Said a New Album Is Coming This Year

Zach Bryan’s latest song announcement was met with the usual enthusiasm from his social media followers. One Instagram user implored, “Just drop the album Zach.”

Despite numerous hints that he was leaving the music industry for good, Bryan has reportedly secured a blockbuster deal with Warner Records for at least two albums. He has continued to tease new music on social media since the release of last year’s The Great American Bar Scene.
