With the CMA Fest happening just a few weeks ago, country music looked to keep the good times rolling with the Hoofbeat Music Festival in Cadott, Wisconsin. Kicking off on June 26th, the festival will run until June 28th. Offering three days of country music, hit singers, and hopefully perfect weather, the festival looked to Ella Langley to start the festival off right. But on Tuesday, organizers scrambled to find a replacement when the singer suddenly backed out. Although details surrounding her quick exit are unknown at this time, organizers announced the singer who would replace Langley.

While fans were excited to see Langley perform at the festival, the singer suddenly backed out for what the organizers claimed were “unforeseen circumstances.” Although vague about the reasoning for the sudden change, the festival revealed Joe Nichols would take her spot.
Sharing a post on Instagram about the new lineup, the Hoofbeat Festival wrote, “A little switcheroo, y’all — Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ella Langley can no longer make her scheduled performance. But you know us—we wouldn’t leave you hangin’. A huge thank you to Joe Nichols for stepping in so last minute to keep the good times rolling. Give him a big ol’ Sconnie welcome!”
Ella Langley’s 2025 Schedule Is Packed
With hit songs like “Gimmie That Girl” and “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off”, Nichols is sure to offer fans an unforgettable performance. But still, fans shared their disappointment in Langley backing out, writing, “No Ella Langley, this news just brought me to tears…” Another person added, “I was excited to see Ella Langley and was hoping she would be on stage with Riley Green too. But Joe Nichols is good too and now we can see him since we will miss him when he’s at paperfest. Have to see Ella Langley soon though.”
As for Langley, the reason behind the schedule change could be due to her performing at Battery Park on June 27th. Taking place just one day after she was expected to perform, the lineup might have been too much for the singer. And if that wasn’t enough, after her performance at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Iowa, she will open for Morgan Wallen shortly after at the Camp Randall Stadium.
A hot commodity in country music, it seemed that Langley’s 2025 schedule might be hitting its max.
