The days of waiting in line to buy tickets to bands like Metallica are over. Instead, fans now have to navigate the wild world of scalpers, ticket companies, and even outrageous buying experiences. Over the last few years, buying a single ticket included searching for presale codes, signing up to a performer’s mailing list, or sitting in a queue for hours. The ticket-buying experience got so messy that the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Live Nation, hoping to combat the monopoly between them and Ticketmaster. And if the DOJ can’t make it right, Kid Rock is ready to step up to the challenge.

Never one to hide his feelings, Kid Rock recently posted a picture of himself alongside Pam Bondi. For those who might not know who Bondi is – she is the nominee for the lead of the DOJ. Nominated by former President Donald Trump, Kid Rock wrote, “What a treat to break bread with our soon to be Attorney General Pam Bondi. I look forward to working with her and the whole administration to help fix the fiasco of buying concert tickets. Gonna open a can of whoop ass on the bots, scalpers, venues, ticketing companies, managers and artists alike who rip off and deceive the public with the horse shit that has gone on for decades and only gotten worse.”

Understanding the massive companies he wanted to go against, Kid Rock called on all the help he could get. He added, “Whoever in charge that wants to help fix this, get your a** to the table, otherwise, F**k Around and Find Out.”
Kid Rock Not Waiting On The Government
Not all that shocking, this isn’t the first time Kid Rock blasted companies like Ticketmaster. Once appearing on This Past Weekend with Theo Von, the country star insisted, “They made over a billion dollars in the secondary market last year. That means if you buy a ticket and go to a concert, you’re their worst customer. They want that ticket to resell, and resell, and keep getting that money on it.”
With Kid Rock on the case, he declared, “they could cut it out but the government will not hold them responsible to stop the bots. The government says, ‘We’re going to do it,’ and they’re not doing sh*t.”
