On June 19, 2025, Luke Bryan played a show in Arkansas with a very strained voice. During that performance, Bryan paused the show and apologized to the fans in attendance. Bryan then admirably finished the show, and refunded the tickets for those who attended. Following this June 19 show, Bryan went on to postpone a string of shows and festivals on his 2025 summer tour, Country Song Came On tour.

The shows Bryan postponed and eventually rescheduled were his stops in Louisiana and Texas. As for the festivals, Bryan canceled his appearances at Country Stampede, NEBRASKAland, and Country Jam Colorado. Eric Church stepped in for Luke Bryan during those dates. During these missed shows, Bryan never explicitly divulged what illness was preventing him from performing. Though, now that Bryan is back on the road, he recently revealed the root of his health complications.

Luke Bryan Is Still Not 100%
On July 17, in Greenville, South Carolina, Luke Bryan took to the stage at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena. During the show, Bryan took a brief moment to update fans on his condition and disclosed what sickness made him miss several of his tour dates.
Luke Bryan stated to the crowd, “Three weeks ago, I got C—d. You can boo that s— all you want, but I got it. I had to cancel some shows, and now I’m back. But I’m not 100%, because it’s still kicking my a—. And you know what? I don’t give a s—. I’m not gonna let. So when I can sing, I’m gonna sing. And when I can’t, y’all are gonna sing, alright?”
He added, “Y’all are gonna see me hack. I can’t take anymore medicine. I can’t do anything else but just try to breathe. Anyways, we’re gonna have fun tonight. We’re gonna make the most of it.”
As of now, Luke Bryan is set to continue his Country Song Came On tour on July 24 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. If his illness does not interfere, Luke Bryan will end his tour in several months on January 18, 2026, at Crash My Playa.
