Releasing her second studio album, Am I Okay?, back in July 2024, Megan Moroney wanted to celebrate her work with her Am I Okay? Tour. Excited to get back to the stage, the country singer loved soaking in the spotlight as she performed songs about past lovers, the sting of heartbreak, and even hanging with her friends. Traveling to Huntsville, Alabama for another concert, Moroney shocked fans when she decided to change the lyrics to “Miss Universe.” Taking out Brad Pitt’s name from the song, the singer switched it to another Hollywood star, Glen Powell.

When it comes to Hollywood, Pitt is considered an A-list actor. Able to draw a crowd to theaters, it seemed appropriate that Moroney would add the actor to her song. But when performing at the Orion Amphitheater, she switched it up. For fans of the singer, they instantly picked up on the change as the original lyric included, “Cause I’da left him first if I’da met Brad Pitt.” But at the time, she sang, “Cause I’da left him first if I’da met Glen Powell.”
Over the last few years, Powell made a name for himself in Hollywood thanks to films like Top Gun: Maverick. Getting the chance to work alongside Tom Cruise, the actor watched as the internet couldn’t get enough of him. Becoming the new heartthrob of Hollywood, the actor recently appeared in the film Anyone But You. The movie also featured Sydney Sweeney, who appeared in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Fans loved the quick switch as the video gained over 43,000 likes. Looking at the comments, they read, “soooo she is 100% real for that!!!! every time i listen to this song i change the lyric to “Glenn Powell”!!!!” Another comment included, “That’s exactly what I say every single time I listen to this song.”
Appearing to share common ground with her fans, Moroney found herself with a few rumors when she vacationed in Saint Bart not that long ago. It just so happened that Riley Green also visited the area at the same time.
Not wanting headlines to focus on just a rumor, Moroney quickly cleared the air, insisting, “Just because we’re hanging out doesn’t mean we’re romantically dating.”
