While most fans debated Morgan Wallen walking off the stage early on Saturday Night Live, the country singer remained focused on his upcoming album I’m The Problem. Knowing the dangers of rumors and drama, Wallen stepped away from the spotlight after throwing a chair from the rooftop of a bar. And when wanting to perform on SNL, he once again found himself the center of attention. Still, paying little mind to the headlines and social media, the country singer decided to tease his new album with a snippet of his new single “Come Back As A Redneck.”

Sharing a video on Instagram, Wallen showed himself spending a day in the country. The video included him practicing on the range and even exploring the wilderness. And truly embracing the country lifestyle, Wallen cruised through the woods on an ATV. At the same time, “Come Back As A Redneck” blasted over the video.
Although not the entire song, fans got a taste of what they should expect from the new album. Looking at the lyrics, they read, “When you die, I hope you come back as a redneck/I hope it sticks on you like a hell-hot sun tattoo/I hope you break your back for that barely-get-by paycheck/And when you can’t, you gotta go and bloody up a buck or two/Catch the Holy Ghost on a pine wood bench/Drive across the county just to hook up a winch/Revel in the pride of a simple man/ Maybe thеn you’ll understand.”
Morgan Wallen Ready To Get Back To “God’s Country”
As for I’m The Problem, the fourth studio album from Wallen will be released on May 16, 2025. Only a few weeks away, the album included songs like “I’m The Problem’, “I Got Better”, “What I Want”, and “Just In Case.”
Outside of the drama surrounding his time on SNL, Wallen appeared right at home when introduced by the host for the evening Mikey Madison. Besides offering a new song, the country singer used his time on stage to also hint at other tracks from the upcoming album. As he performed, a vintage television behind him revealed song titles like “Skoal, Chevy, and Browning.”

Although enjoying his time at SNL, Wallen was ready to get back home as he shared a picture of a private jet online, writing, “Get me to God’s country.”
