Adam's Tough Choice
“She killed that!” John, who spent Ari’s time on stage dancing and singing along, declared after she finished her performance. Bryson was likewise impressive, and had John on his feet throughout his performance too. “How are you deciding?” John questioned, before declaring, “I’m stealing somebody!” John wasn’t kidding. After Adam selected Britton as the winner, John pressed his button to steal Ari. That move brought Ari back to her initial team.
Adam Is Impressed With His Steal
Ari Camille decided to sing Faith Evans’ “Love Like This” for her debut on Team Adam. The singer had only praise for her, only advising her to “stay connected” and overcome her nerves while performing. Despite being from Texas and loving country music, Britton Moore had never performed a country song on stage before. That changed this week, as he decided to sing Zac Brown Band’s “Free,” a move Adam fully supported.
A Short Look at Team Kelsea
In a quick peek at a Team Kelsea Knockout, Alanna Lynise, using her long-term relationship with her boyfriend as inspiration, selected Lady Gaga’s “I’ll Never Love Again” as her song. It was a good choice, as Kelsea selected her as the winner of the Knockout.
Two Standing Ovations
Bryson thoroughly impressed during his performance, so much so that he earned a standing ovation from all four coaches. John even called him “one of the best singers I’ve seen in any context.” The coaches also stood up after Tatum’s performance, and Kelsea praised her as a storyteller. Ultimately, John selected Bryson as the winner.
Team John Legend Takes Center Stage
Tatum Scott picked Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” for her first performance as part of Team John Legend. John was on board with the choice, and feeling good about his decision to steal Tatum away from Team Kelsea. Bryson Battle, Tatum’s Knockout competitor, chose Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way” for the round. After hearing his rendition of the song, John declared it “ridiculous.”
The Coaches' Special Talents
Between the performances, Kelsea showed off her excellent Jennifer Coolidge impression, while Adam impressed with his ability to balance his hat on his nose.
Divighn Impresses Adam Levine… But It's Not Enough
Choosing to perform a Maroon 5 song in front of the band’s frontman was a risky move, but Divighn needn’t have worried. Adam Levine, who gave Divighn a standing ovation, praised the performance, calling it “rock solid.” Kaiya also earned praised from the coaches for her performance. In fact, Michael parted with Adam’s suggestion to pick Divighn and picked Kaiya as the winner.
Michael Bublé's Team Is Up
First up in the new episode was Team Michael Bublé. Divighn opted to perform Maroon 5 “Harder to Breathe,” a choice Michael fully supported, even predicting that it’d be a “hot performance.” Kaiya Hamilton, meanwhile, selected Alessia Cara’s “Here” for her Knockout, and decided to dedicate the performance to her choir director mom for “instilling music” in her.
And We're Back!
Kelsea Ballerini kicked the new episode off with a dad joke. After noting that it was the Knockout Round, a giggly Kelsea declared, “I hope everyone knocks it out of the park!”

Host Carson Daly introduced the first hour of The Voice by stating that fans were in for a recap of last week’s Knockout performances. While that would take up the show’s first hour, fans will get a chance to see more Knockouts beginning at 9/8c, Daly said.
