Tim McGraw Returning to the Stage After Multiple Surgeries

While looking to return to the stage, the last year has been somewhat turbulent for Tim McGraw. Just last August, the country star found himself needing surgery on both of his knees after an incident on the road. Due to the surgery, McGraw canceled the remaining concerts for his Standing Room Only tour in 2024. And if that wasn’t enough, in January, he needed to step away from a rodeo series for Netflix due to a back surgery. Continuing to focus on his health, it seemed that McGraw was ready to get back to the stage with two upcoming concerts.

Marking his first concert of 2025, McGraw will travel to Fort Collins, Colorado on July 21st. With fans anxious to see the country singer return to the stage, his schedule appeared to fill up as he will also perform at the Bristol Motor Speedway. While known for racing, the speedway will transform into a baseball field for the MLB. Hosting a game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Atlanta Braves, McGraw will offer fans a little entertainment before the game.

Faith Hill Focused On Keeping Tim McGraw Positive

As for his ongoing health issues, an insider close to the singer revealed to Closer, “He’s in a hell of a lot of pain now and once the surgery is done, he’ll need months of recovery and therapy sessions. It’s a really tough pill to swallow, especially so soon after he had to cancel all of those tour dates, but he’s doing his best to stay positive.”

With McGraw going through some health issues over the last year, the insider continuously praised the singer’s wife, Faith Hill, for her ongoing support. “Faith has been an amazing help at keeping his mindset positive. She’s always so good at reminding him to focus on all he has to be grateful for, that has been huge for him as he navigates this.”

Never losing his passion for country music and performing, McGraw’s special performance at the Bristol Motor Speedway seemed like the best way to end the Summer. And thankful, for those who already purchased a ticket to the event, the concert was included for free. Not a bad deal.
