Tyler Childers Offers Dino-Sized Surprise During Dinosaur World Pop-Up Show

For most directors, they hope to make a great film. But for Steven Spielberg, he wanted to make the biggest summer blockbuster in history when he started production on Jurassic Park. Releasing in June 1993, the film became an instant success, bringing in over $1 billion at the box office. And since that moment, Jurassic Park inspired video games, theme park rides, toys, comic books, and more than a few sequels. Adding to that list was Tyler Childers, who appeared inspired by the iconic film when he appeared as Dr. Alan Grant during a recent performance.

Just a few days ago, Childers released his seventh studio album with Snipe Hunter. While fans praised the singer for his latest release, he went on the road for a few pop-up shows. Supporting his new album, Childers performed at a sandwich shop in Nashville called Turkey and the Wolf. And there seemed no better song to sing than “Bitin’ List.”

While Childers enjoyed the play on words, he found himself performing in front of more than fans when he took the stage at Dinosaur World in Kentucky. Bringing Tyler and the Food Stamps out, fans quickly noticed that the singer dressed as the famous Dr. Grant from the Jurassic Park franchise. And it wasn’t just Childers, as each member of the band also donned a different costume.

I’m a terrible videographer under the best circumstances, but an even worse one when I’m singing my heart out to one of the best! I was too excited to be hearing and singing along to Bitin’ List to hold still. @Tyler Childers put on an amazing show at Dinosaur World! I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to be there! #tylerchilders #popupshow #cavecity #bitinlist #snipehunter

Tyler Childers Takes Dinosaur World Back To “The Old Country Church”

With Dinosaur World offering hundreds of life-sized dinosaurs, interactive exhibits, and even dino-themed playgrounds, Childers knew he had to bring something bigger than a 20-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex. Loving his song ‘Bitin’ List,’ he found it fit the setting perfectly.

Completely enjoying his time on the stage, Childers also entertained fans with a throwback to his 2022 song “The Old Country Church.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the costume as some already started to call him “Tyler ‘Alan Grant’ Childers.” Another person added, “I need it to be recognized he dressed up appropriately for Dinosaur World.

Outside of Dinosaur World being a unique place to hold a concert, music played a crucial part in Jurassic Park. Besides the legendary theme, the famous water-rippling effect was created by strumming a guitar string under the dash of the vehicle.
