Check out the brand new video for “Lies,” the latest single off Case Studies’ The World Is Just a Shape to Fill the Night. Case Studies is the the new band from ex-Duke and the Dutchess singer Jesse Lortz. Their killer debut (think Leonard Cohen rocking out in a garage) was recorded by Greg Ashley of Gris Gris, and features Crystal Stilts’ Keegan Cooke on drums and guitar.
“Ask me how many days will I love you, well how many stars are in the sky,” sings Lortz dryly. “Ask me if I’ll ever hurt you again, and I’ll tell you that I’d rather die.” He’s lying.
