Watch This Riley Green Fan Absolutely Nail Onstage ‘Don’t Mind if I Do’ Duet

Riley Green and Ella Langley were country music’s dynamic duo of 2024, seizing the national spotlight first with the cheeky “You Look Like You Love Me” and then the aching “Don’t Mind If I Do.” While fans fell in love with the pair, Green has also shared the stage with a series of female stand-ins for live performances of “Don’t Mind If I Do,” including Megan Moroney. Now, it seems the Alabama native, 36, may be onto something with his latest duet partner.

Pennsylvania Woman Goes Viral For Riley Green Duet

Rachel Martin regularly performs worship songs with her sisters at their hometown church in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. Outside of that, the 22-year-old has no public singing experience.

Still, when Riley Green selected her to join him onstage during his July 20 set at the York State Fair, Martin had no time to give in to nerves.

“It just kind of kicked in and I was like, ‘All right, I’m going on stage to sing,’” Martin recalled to the Daily Item.

Asking for help from “all the females” in the audience, Green sat beside Martin for a duet of “Don’t Mind If I Do,” the title track off his third studio album.

It became immediately clear that she didn’t need it. The “Jesus Saves” singer shared a video of the performance to his social media page. “There’s something in the water up here in York, PA,” Green wrote in the caption.

Within less than 24 hours, the clip had racked up nearly 1 million views. “The way she killed it and doesn’t sound nervous at all,” one TikTok user marveled.

“Sign her!” another urged.

She’s Been Bitten

Now that Riley Green has given Rachel Martin a taste of performing for a sold-out crowd, the construction worker is hungry for more.

“If I never feel that high again, I’d be sad,” she said. ““I just really, really enjoy using music to show true emotion and tell a story.”

Much to the delight of her parents, Martin says she plans to pursue more opportunities to sing in public.

“I’m just a dad trying to promote my shy daughter,” Boyd Martin wrote as he shared Green’s viral TikTok clip. “She’s never performed in public outside church. We’ve told her for years to take it further.”
