Raking in 26 chart-topping singles and selling nearly 40 million albums, the “Chattahoochee” crooner has enjoyed immense success throughout the last three decades. Now, at 66 years old, Jackson has decided it’s time to hang it up for good on the road. And with just one show left to play, it’s getting real.
Alan Jackson Will Play Final Show Next Month
Back in 2022, Alan Jackson embarked on his Last Call: One More For The Road tour. Three years later, the tour’s title will finally become a reality. The “Remember When” singer has just one show remaining, scheduled for May 17 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“I’ve been touring for over 30 years, heading into my twilight years, and all my daughters are grown, and I got one grandchild and one on the way,” Jackson said in a video posted to social media last June. “Enjoy spending more time at home, and don’t want to be away. I’ve had a wonderful career, and my fans always show up and have a good time, and I’m going to try to give them the best show I can for the last call for a good time.”

With the curtain closing on such a storied career, those attending Jackson’s Milwaukee show are in for a night of lifelong memories.

Jackson Opens Up About Health Struggles
Aside from the desire to soak up time with family, Alan Jackson also has his health to consider. The Georgia native has spoken publicly about living with Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease, a neurogenerative disorder that affects balance and fine motor skills.
“There’s no cure for it, but it’s been affecting me for years, and it’s getting more and more obvious,” Jackson said during a 2021 interview with Today. “And I know I’m stumbling around on stage. And now I’m having a little trouble balancing, even in front of the microphone, and so I just feel very uncomfortable.”
