Sharing a love for country artists like George Strait, Randy Travis, and Keith Whitley, Zach Top explored a music career part of the bluegrass band called Top String. Having spent only five years in the music industry, Top is already making a name for himself. Back in 2021, Top relocated to Nashville in order to embrace the world of country music. He released hit songs like “Sounds Like the Radio”, which gained hit marks from fans and critics. And wasting little time, Top also showcased his debut studio album, Cold Beer & Country Music. But recently, the rising country singer decided to put his songs to the side to cover Chris Stapleton’s “Nobody to Blame.”

Covering another singer’s song can be challenging. And wanting to cover a song by Stapleton can be downright impossible given his unique sound and masterful voice. But that didn’t stop Top from showing just how far his voice can go. Taking the stage in Paris, Illinois, the country singer mesmerized fans through his cover of “Nobody to Blame.” Thankfully, fans who attended the performance had their phones at the ready to capture the future of country music.

Zach Top Heads To The 2025 San Antonio Rodeo
Looking at what fans thought of the performance, comments included, “Zach Top could make a whole album of nothing but covers and it would be absolute gold.” Another person added, “Like he’s not trying to sound like him at all. Straight natural, sounds great.” And one comment insisted, “Love ole Zach Top. Great country voice and a genuinely good dude! He’s gonna be a huge star.”
Other fans considered Top’s performance to be like “Butter.” And outside of receiving love and support from fans, Top prepares to take the stage at the 2025 San Antonio Rodeo. Releasing the full music lineup for the stock show and rodeo, it seems that Keith Urban, Diamond Rio, and Dwight Yoakam will perform. And adding his name to the lineup, Top will play on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Quickly climbing the genre, Top joins other stars like Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll, who are ushering in a new era of country music.
