“Sand In My Boots” (Morgan Wallen)
HARDY and Morgan Wallen’s names have become inseparable. HARDY has helped his fellow singer earn countless country hits. In many ways, fans should thank HARDY for helping put Wallen on the map. We could have picked many songs for this list, but we’ve chosen “Sand In My Boots”.
One of Wallen’s most famous songs to date, “Sand In My Boots” was written by HARDY, Ashley Gorley, and Josh Osborne. The trio of writers crafted the perfect ode to lost summer love. Somethin’ bout the way she kissed me tells me she’d love Eastern Tennessee / Yeah, but all I brought back with me was some sand in my boots, Wallen sings. It’s no wonder this song did as well as it did. The effect that Wallen has on his fans has never been as staunch as it is here.
“God’s Country” (Blake Shelton)
HARDY dug into his Mississippi roots for this Blake Shelton song. “God’s Country” sees the former Voice coach sing about the simple life down south. We turn the dirt and work until the week’s done
We take a break and break bread on Sunday / Then do it all again ’cause we’re proud to be / From God’s country, he sings. HARDY, being a southern boy, himself knows how to appeal to his audience. “God’s Country” is one of the best summations of small town living that country music has to offer.

“Hate My Heart” (Carrie Underwood)
HARDY tends to work with his male peers more, but, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t penned a few fabulously female anthems in his day. “Hate My Heart” is an example of HARDY’s wide range of abilities. Lord knows I deserve to be flirted with / But the only problem is / I hate my heart right now / Underneath the covers in the dark right now, Carrie Underwood sings in this track. With this track, HARDY managed to empathize with a woman’s point of view, earning Underwood yet another stadium-pleaser for her catalog.
