By the end of the 1960s, so many classic songs were released. Songs that still sound incredible decades later. These are three of the best Top 10 hits from 1968 that every 60s kid alive can still sing along with today.

โDo You Know The Way To San Joseโ starts with, โDo you know the way to San Josรฉ? / I’ve been away so long / I may go wrong and lose my way.”
Although this song remains one of Warwickโs biggest hits, she did not want to record the song when she first heard it.
โI did not want to sing or record โSan Jose,โโ Warwick tells People. โIt was not one of my favorite songs that David wrote.”
โDo You Know The Way To San Jose gave Warwick her first Grammy Award. It has since been recorded by Connie Francis and The Carpenters, among others.
โSunshine Of Your Loveโ by Cream
Creamโs first Top 10 single is โSunshine Of Your Loveโ. The only single from their sophomore Disraeli Gears record, โSunshine Of Your Loveโ was written by band members Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Pete Brown.
The sweet song says, โI‘ve been waiting so long / To be where I’m going / In the sunshine of your love.”
Also in 1968, Cream released โWhite Roomโ. That song became their final Top 10 single. โSunshine Of Your Loveโ has been covered by several other musical acts, including Ella Fitzgerald and Living Color.
โTouch Meโ by The Doors
The Doorsโ โTouch Meโ is the first single from The Soft Parade, their fourth studio album. The groupโs Robby Krieger wrote this song by himself.
โTouch Meโ says in part, โNow, I’m going to love you / ‘Til the heavens stop the rain / I’m going to love you / ‘Til the stars fall from the sky / For you and I.”
โTouch Meโ follows โHello, I Love Youโ, one of The Doorsโ biggest hits. This is the only hit single from The Soft Parade. After โTouch Meโ, The Doors only had two more hits on the radio, with โLove Her Madlyโ and โRiders On The Stormโ, both out in 1971.

Rock music legend Janis Joplin performs at the free Woodstock Music and Art Fair. The festival took place on Max Yasgur's dairy farm, which he rented to event organizers for $75,000. About 450,000 people attended the three day concert, which turned into chaos due to the crowds, heavy rains, and traffic jams. It is nonetheless romantically remembered as a symbol of the liberal spirit of the hippie generation. (Photo by Henry Diltz/Corbis via Getty Images)
