Most would define a one-hit wonder to be a musician or singer who makes it to the Top 20 or Top 40 of the Hot 100 chart just one time in their career. Others would define a one-hit wonder as someone who makes it to anywhere on that coveted chart just one time. That is the case for the following four artists and bands, who just barely made it to the Hot 100 with one single songโฆ and those songs peaked at No. 100.
Thereโs no shame in that, truly. How many people reading this have made it to the Hot 100 at all? Certainly not me. Letโs take a look and celebrate these underrated artists!

โStrangersโ by Lauren Jauregui and Halsey
Halsey is no stranger to the charts, but this song is Lauren Jaureguiโs only Hot 100 hit as a solo artist. You might remember her as a member of The X Factor-born girl group, Fifth Harmony.
Jauregui had a few hits make it to the US Hot Dance chart and Digital Songs Sales chart in the 2010s. However, her only song to make it to the Billboard US Hot 100 chart is โStrangersโ from 2017. She was the featured artist on that song, while Halsey was the lead artist.
โRoyalsโ by Taylor John Williams
The Voice birthed quite a few stars. However, for many contestants of the singing competition show, whether they win or not, fame is often short-lived.
Taylor John Williams, famously from the showโs seventh season, is quite a talented singer. However, he only released one studio album during his career and a handful of EPs. His only hit to chart on the Hot 100 at No. 100 was his cover of Lordeโs โRoyalsโ in 2014. He also did fairly well on iTunes, where the studio version of his performance of โRoyalsโ reached the Top 10.
โNew Morningโ by Alpha Rev
This alternative rock band has been around since 2005. However, surprisingly, they have only made it to the Hot 100 chart one time at No. 100. The song in question is โNew Morningโ, the title track from their major label debut album of the same name from 2010.
โDown That Roadโ by Alisan Porter
Another The Voice star makes it to our list of one-hit wonders who only made it to the Hot 100 once at No. 100. This talented crooner has released several albums, including her Top 20 hit on the US Americana/Folk Albums chart, Who We Are from 2014. Sadly, Porter has only scored a single Hot 100 hit with the song โDown That Roadโ from 2016.
