Liam Gallagher is known for a lot of things. His wild antics on-stage and off-stage usually grab the public attention more than his artistic integrity, unfortunately. It’s a shame, considering he’s quite a talented vocalist who doesn’t get as much credit for his vocal prowess as he should. Let’s look at just a few times Liam Gallagher delivered killer vocals, both in Oasis and throughout his solo career!

1. “Wall Of Glass”
“Wall Of Glass” comes from Liam Gallagher’s debut solo album, As You Were from 2017. The whole of the album gives fans a taste of that good ol’ 1990s version of Gallagher that many fell in love with. “Wall Of Glass”, specifically, is a standout track on that record that features some of Gallagher’s most attention-grabbing lyrics. If anything, “Wall Of Glass” proved that he hadn’t lost any of that rock star grit he was known for.
2. “Roll It Over”
This Oasis classic from 2000 features some of Liam Gallagher’s most tender and arresting vocals. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants isn’t exactly a mild album, but “Roll It Over” closes it out on a vulnerable, almost soft note. Gallagher croons about a friend he lost touch with and yearns to make amends with. In a way, it’s almost like he had some cosmic foresight with this one.
3. “Start Anew”
Beady Eye was Gallagher’s post-Oasis project with the remaining members of Oasis, obviously sans Noel Gallagher. While this solo project wasn’t quite as successful as what Noel had been dishing out in the 2010s, “Start Anew” does showcase some of Liam’s very best vocal tracks. It almost sounds like a singer/songwriter from years passed had possessed Gallagher in this song.
4. “Live Forever”
“Live Forever” is one of the most memorable songs from Oasis’ discography. It also boasts some of Liam Gallagher’s finer vocals. A standout on Definitely Maybe, “Live Forever” was absolutely made for Gallagher’s attitude-driven singing quality. The way he takes on that falsetto is impressive, to say the least. And one can’t help but think the lyrics themselves describe Gallagher quite a bit.
