Although spending only a few years in country music, Ella Langley appeared to hit the ground running as she released hit songs like “Strangers”, “Hungover”, and “You Look Like You Love Me.” And that was just the start as she also performed at the Grand Ole Opry. On her way to leaving her mark in country music, the singer recently opened up about her career and how she always had a love for music thanks to her grandfather.

Appearing on the God’s Country podcast, Langley revealed how she grew up surrounded by singers and musicians. Declaring “This had been the plan for my whole life” when discussing her career in country music, the singer learned how to command a stage at an early age. “My grandpa was, I mean, he could sing. My grandma could sing. He could play every instrument by ear. Our family reunions, all of them would get together and everyone was singing. Music has just been a big part of our life on my dad’s side, but also my mom’s side.”
With Langley spending a great deal of time with her grandparents, she learned about music and even how to play the piano. And when looking back on those good times, Langley insisted, “I mean, I loved it. Everything about it. I’ve always loved it. I’ve never wanted to do anything else. Not even that, I think that I could be good at doing plenty of other things, but this is what I want to do.”

Ella Langley Found Her People When Moving To Nashville
Eventually finding her way to Nashville, Langley looked back on the experience with love. “It’s been a cool journey of finding those people for me in town that I just love and love me and believe in me and I believe in them. And so that’s what’s really kept me going a lot through this.”
While having her family’s support throughout her journey in country music, Langley and her parents always knew she would end up on a stage. “My family supports me the way that they do and just love me, but that’s the thing, nobody has ever thought I was going to do anything else…If you ask any of my family, they’re like, ‘Yeah, we all knew that this was what she was going to do.’”
