Darryl Worley Hand-Delivers Special Gift to “Angel” Who Helped His Daughter After Head-on Collision

Country singer Darryl Worley experienced every parent’s worst nightmare last month when his teenage daughter, Savannah, was injured in a car wreck. Worley flew back to Nashville from a show in New Mexico after the 16-year-old went via Life Flight to Vanderbilt Medical Center. The “Have You Forgotten” star later informed his social media followers that Savannah was recovering from surgery after sustaining a broken leg, along with multiple cuts and bruises. Recently, the relieved father offered a token of thanks to the stranger who stayed by his daughter’s side.

Darryl Worley Shows His Appreciation For “Kind Gentleman”

Taking to Instagram the day after Christmas (Thursday, Dec. 26,) Darryl Worley shared a picture of himself standing beside the first person to arrive on scene after his daughter’s terrifying crash. A fruit basket sits between them in the bed of a red truck.

“He is an angel who helped my baby girl during one of the scariest times of her life and our life as her parents!” wrote the Tennessee-born artist, 60. “We wanted to do something for him and his wife so we got them this fruit basket for Christmas!! It pales in comparison to what he did for Savannah but we could not let the holiday pass without showing him our appreciation and love!”

2024 has been a tough one for Darryl Worley. In January, he watched “lifelong memories” go up in flames after his barn tragically caught fire. Seven months later, wife Kimberly was injured in an ATV accident.
