Country Music Festival Faster Horses Canceled for 2025: Jelly Roll & Lainey Wilson Among Past Headliners

Over a month into 2025, the music industry already witnessed some major announcements with Beyonce revealing she was going on the road for her Cowboy Carter Tour. She also received 11 Grammy nominations for her debut country album Cowboy Carter. Other singers looked to expand their career with new albums in 2025. But with music lovers bracing for a major year for music, it appears that the country music festival Faster Horses won’t be returning over the summer.

Since 2013, the Faster Horses country music festival offered fans of the genre a full lineup of some of the biggest singers in country. Held at the Michigan Speedway, the festival gained a reputation for being a little rambunctious. With fans able to camp on-site during the festival and more than enough alcohol, it seemed on natural that some might indulge a little too much.

As for the announcement, the festival shared a post on Instagram and their website about postponing the event in 2025. And it wasn’t all bad news as the festival wrote, “We have made the decision to pause Faster Horses Festival in 2025. We are taking the year to make plans for a bigger and better Faster Horses for our fans who deserve the absolute best.”

Music Festival Faster Horses Hopes To Return Bigger And Better

Not wanting to see the festival go backward, Live Nation, the company behind the festival, wanted to usher in a new era of Faster Horses. While not the best news that fans have to wait another year, the good news – the festival is sure to bring an amazing lineup in the future.

Also loving the Michigan Motor Speedway and what the venue offered Faster Horses, the festival organizers added, “We love our friends at Michigan International Speedway, the community, and all of those all those behind the scenes. While we hope to bring you something in the future, for now we encourage you to keep the community strong and support live music in Michigan!”

Looking back to the 2024 festival, Faster Horses brought more than a few hitmakers as Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll took the stage for stellar performances.
