Although Billy Ray Cyrus spent the last three decades releasing over a dozen albums and even collaborating with Lil Nas X on “Old Town Road”, he will always be remembered for the hit country song “Achy Breaky Heart.” Becoming the best-selling country song in 1992, fans even produced a line dance to the hit. While continuing to explore his career in the music industry, Cyrus recently took a moment to shine a light not on himself but his daughters Noah and Miley Cyrus. Having watched their stardom take off, he couldn’t help but comment on how happy he was as a father.

Getting married a few times, Cyrus shared Miley, Noah, and his song Braison with ex-wife Tish. He also adopted Brandi and Trace after he married Tish in 1993. They would end their marriage in 2023 with the country star marrying Firerose that same year. They also divorced just a year later in 2024. Not wanting to focus on his marriages, Cyrus only praised Noah and Miley in his recent Instagram post.
Sharing a picture of Miley and Noah, Cyrus wrote in the caption, “Holy s**t . I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one! You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters @mileycyrus @noahcyrus .”

Billy Ray Cyrus Worked With Son On New Album
Having shared a part in their lives, Cyrus congratulated them on their success which continued to build with each new release. “Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level . Congratulations girls ! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you. I’m actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can’t see me. Have fun now and be happy ! Love Dad.”
While showering Noah and Miley with love and praise, his son Braison had a hand in helping the sisters steal the spotlight. With Noah releasing her new single “Don’t Put It All on Me” with Fleet Foxes, the song was actually written by Braison. As for Miley, she recently announced her new album featuring 13 songs that will hit shelves on May 30.
Even Cyrus himself announced a new album on the way. And again, the album was produced by Braison. With the whole family leaving their mark on the music industry, it’s easy to see why Cyrus was so proud.
