Always having a love for country music, Jon Pardi knew he wanted to leave his mark on the industry. And shortly after high school, the singer moved to Nashville to start his dream of becoming a country music star. While quickly learning how the music industry worked, Pardi produced several hit songs like “Head Over Boots” and “Last Night Lonely.” Back in 2023, he even became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Continuing to expand his career, Pardi recently sat down to discuss the two singers who continuously helped shape his future.

At the start of his career, Pardi found himself in the company of singers like Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan. With years of experience, the country singer jumped at the chance to go on the road with them. Speaking with Apple Music, he recalled, “I love Dierks. I’ve done the most tours with Dierks and Luke Bryan. And those guys are brothers and they’ve always been, whatever I’m doing…We started on the first Dierks tour, we had 20 minutes and it was like the first of four, but we were definitely partying then. But still to the day, always there for advice.”

Jon Pardi Considered Both Dierks Bentley And Luke Bryan “Brothers”
Getting a taste of what it was like to perform in front of thousands of screaming fans, Pardi wanted more than stage advice. Recalling a conversation he once had with Bryan, he said, “I remember talking to Luke Bryan about set lists, and he was like, ‘That’s such a good question.’ I was like, ‘What do you guys do,’ because he’s got 30 number ones now, I think. Because you want to play some of the other stuff…Then he talked to me, we talked about set lists. But he thought that was a great question.”
While Bryan eventually turned his attention to judging American Idol, Pardi continued to hold their advice and friendship close. He insisted, “Those guys have been brothers, and they’re great.”
Outside of Pardi looking back at his career, the singer recently released his newest album Honkytonk Hollywood. And to support the new album, the singer will hit the road with the Honkytonk Hollywood World Tour set to kick off on April 25 at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas.
