“The Fragile Tour 2025” is the latest edition of Yes’ tours dubbed “The Album Series,” which feature the group performing one of its albums in its entirety at each show, along with other select tunes from its expansive catalog.

The concerts will feature Yes performing in front of a video wall featuring an AI presentation that will bring the artwork of the band’s longtime album-cover designer, Roger Dean, to life.

Tickets for most of the shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m. local time. Artist pre-sale tickets and VIP packages are available now. Fans interested in purchasing tickets early may want to visit StubHub.

Yes’ current lineup is led by longtime guitarist Steve Howe, who joined the band in 1970. The group also features keyboardist Geoff Downes, who first played with Yes in 1980, as well as singer Jon Davison, bassist Billy Sherwood, and drummer Jay Schellen.

About the Fragile Album

Released in November 1971 in the U.K. and January 1972 in the U.S., Fragile was Yes’ fourth studio album. It marked Yes’ first recording with keyboardist Rick Wakeman, who replaced founding member Tony Kaye. The album was the band’s commercial breakthrough in the U.S.

Fragile included the band’s signature tune “Roundabout,” and such other classic songs as “Long Distance Runaround,” “Heart of the Sunrise,” and “South Side of the Sky.”

The album peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. “Roundabout,” meanwhile, became Yes’ first Top-20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching No. 13 on the chart.

Howe reflected on the making and impact of the Fragile album in a statement.

“All the band’s albums had a unique feel and approach,” he said. “After The Yes Album [the band’s previous record], so many things came together, with [co-producer] Eddie Offord steering the proceedings. While the band focused on only four main songs with full arrangements, each of us wrote and designed a solo piece, which was [drummer] Bill [Bruford]’s great idea. It’s fairly ‘odd-ball,’ but we were at the height of our creativity, determined for success.”

The guitarist added, “It gave us confidence, further than our own in-stock belief, we’d crafted this unusual but noticeable musical twist to rock and what later became prog.”

Fragile also was Yes’ first album to feature a cover created by Dean. Dean, who also created the band’s logo, has gone on to design many more of the group’s album covers, as well as its stage sets.

“Roger was and is quintessential to the look of Yes,” noted Howe. “He’s still creating great paintings and design—he has no competition.”
