Debuting in 2006 with his album Sinners Like Me, Eric Church has spent the last two decades in country music. Topping the charts with songs like “Drink In My Hand” and “Springsteen,” the singer-songwriter often lends his fame to charitable endeavors, such as helping raise more than $24 million to assist his home state of North Carolina in recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene. Now, the former Entertainer of the Year’s band is gearing up for another act of goodwill at his Nashville bar.

The Eric Church Band—Jeff Cease, Lee Hendricks, Jeff Hyde, John Henry Trinko, Driver Williams, Craig Wright, and Joanna Cotten—will take over Chief’s on Broadway on July 27 for Music Row for MusiCares: A Jody Williams Songs Takeover.
Known for hits like “Heavens to Betsy” and “Don’t Come Lookin’,” Jackson Dean will headline the event. Joining him are Jody Williams Songs writers Driver Williams, Jason Nix and Jeremy Spillman. Respected Nashville music executive Jody Williams recently launched Jody Williams Songs, a publishing company in partnership with Warner Chappell Music Nashville. There, he represents songwriters Ashley McBryde, Nathan Chapman, Jeremy Spillman, Greg Bates and Pat McLaughlin.
Emily Ann Roberts, Harper O’Neill, Peytan Porter, Andy Austin, and other surprise guests will also perform.
Proceeds from the event will benefit MusiCares, a nonprofit that provides essential health and human services to music professionals. Since 2012, the Eric Church Band has raised more than $3 million for MusiCares through its annual golf tournament and auction.

Eric Church Is Replacing This Country Star At Multiple Festivals
As Luke Bryan battles ongoing vocal problems, Eric Church has promised several “unique and spontaneous” shows in his stead.
The “Mind of a Country Boy” star has canceled or rescheduled multiple gigs since struggling through a June 19 show in Rogers, Arkansas. Bryan announced Wednesday (June 25) that the “Two Pink Lines” crooner, 48, will take his place as Thursday’s (June 26) headliner at the Country Stampede music festival in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
“Huge thanks to my buddy Eric Church for stepping in last minute — and of course, putting on a kick ass show like he always does,” Bryan wrote on social media.
Additionally, Church will fill in at NebraskaLand Days on Friday, June 27, in North Platte, Nebraska, and Country Jam on Saturday, June 28, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
