Great news for rockabilly fans! The Stray Cats are herding up for a U.S. tour for the second consecutive year. The retro-rockin’ trio, singer/guitarist Brian Setzer, bassist Lee Rocker, and drummer Slim Jim Phantom, will hit the road this fall.

The monthlong trek begins October 25 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, and runs through a November 23 show in Wheatland, California. So far, 20 dates have been confirmed, while a 21st is set to take place November 20 at an as-yet-unannounced location.
The tour, The Stray Cats’ first since the summer of 2024, will visit various indoor venues, including theaters and casinos.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m. local time. An artist fan-club presale starts Tuesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can get access to pre-sale tickets by signing up for the Stray Cats newsletter at sonymusicfans.com.

Earlier this year, any Stray Cats activity appeared to be in jeopardy because Setzer was dealing with an autoimmune disease that affected his hands and made it impossible for him to play guitar. Thankfully, Setzer seems to have recovered fully and is excited to tour again with his famous band. In April, he posted a message and a video on his social media pages revealing that was had regained much of his guitar-playing ability.

The Stray Cats’ three members all issued statements expressing their excitement about the forthcoming tour.
“What blows me away every time is how this music still connects—decades later, it’s just as raw, just as real,” Setzer said. “We see fans from every generation now.”
Added Rocker, “There’s nothing like the sound we make when the three of us hit the stage—it’s high-octane rockabilly, loud and proud. We’re fired up to bring that to fans across the country again!”
Phantom, meanwhile, enthused, “Holy Mackerel! The Cats are back for a very, special indoor tour. I’m thrilled and excited to be on the road in 2025 with the best Rockabilly band in the world!
