Last week, Car Seat Headrest’s Will Toledo took to Tumblr to share a cover of “Pyramid Song,” a tune off Radiohead’s 2001 album Amnesiac. A caption beneath the clip, which sounds like a lo-fi bedroom recording (and therefore like much of Car Seat Headrest’s previous output) reads “sloppy flamenco with missing string and AIM accompaniment.”
Car Seat Headrest’s “Something Soon,” off 2015’s Teens of Style, was named our #7 best song of 2015. Toledo and company will release a new album, Teens of Denial, via Matador on May 20. Listen to “Vincent,” a track from that album, here.
