Dolly Parton has been introducing herself to younger audiences with recent collaborations. Earlier this month, she teamed up with Grammy-winning pop star Sabrina Carpenter for a new version of “Please, Please, Please.” Now, the country legend is delivering her wholesome message of love, friendship, and empathy to an even younger audience in her latest collaboration with The Wiggles.

The Wiggles are a massively popular children’s music group. They’ll release their new country-themed album Wiggle Up, Giddy Up next month. The collection will include collaborations with Parton, Lainey Wilson, Morgan Evans, Orville Peck, Jackson Dean, and many more. Additionally, the group reimagined several country classics for the album. For instance, they transformed the classic “9 to 5” into “Counting 1 to 5.” That song and their collaboration with Parton titled “Friends!” dropped last Friday (February 21).

“I had so much fun being a part of this project and I hope you enjoy it as much as we have,” Dolly Parton said about the collaboration in a statement.
Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle) spoke about working with Parton in a press release. “Getting to work with her on these songs is a dream come true,” he said. “We can’t wait for families everywhere to sing along and share in the joy,” he shared.
Carerina Mete (Red Wiggle) is a diehard fan of Parton and her music. She has a tattoo honoring the country legend. Additionally, she named one of her daughters Dolly. As a result, collaborating with Parton was a career highlight for Mete. “Getting to work with my absolute musical hero is beyond surreal,” she shared in the statement. “Dolly has inspired me in so many ways, and I know these songs will bring so much happiness to families everywhere.”
The Wiggles have been bringing fun and educational songs to kids and families around the world since 1991. Now, more than 30 years after their formation, the group is still going strong with sixty-two studio albums to their name. Their new country-themed album with be their sixty-third studio project and the group shows no signs of slowing down.
