If you’re a diehard fan of Dollywood, you might be excited to hear that Dolly Parton is opening up another immersive experience this year. In spring of 2025, Parton will open her new Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Parton’s new dinner theater experience will feature entertainment, a huge pirate ship stage, a wealth of culinary delights, and, of course, music.
This wouldn’t be the first time Parton has taken on the pirate theme in her ever-expanding franchise. Parton’s company also hosts similar events in Tennessee and South Carolina. Those events have been so successful that Parton has decided to expand the concept. And now, fans in Florida will get a fully-fledged dinner and theater experience.
Dolly Parton’s Pirate Dinner and Theater Experience Opens on June 1
Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is expected to open on June 1. According to recent reports, the location will feature two giant pirate ship-shaped buildings, constructed in a 600,000 lagoon.
“When we open this spring, there will be pirates, mermaids, exciting acrobatics, pyrotechnics, and even a few songs that I wrote,” Parton said in a statement. “It’s a show everyone in the family is going to love. Everyone knows I dream big, so we are definitely going ‘overboard’ with the details as we get started!”
The immersive swashbuckling experience will be perfect for adults and children, as well. Face-painting and “makeovers” for kids who want to fit the theme will be available. There will also be pre-show entertainment, live animals, and plenty of opportunities to purchase souvenirs. There are quite a few excellent culinary options to choose from when it comes to the dinner portion of the experience, all of which are pirate-themed.
“How exciting that we’re breaking ground for my Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show in Panama City Beach!” Parton continued in her statement. “My Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show has been a huge success in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and I knew that Panama City Beach was the perfect spot to open our third location.”
If you’re worried about the state of Dollywood with this new franchise announcement, don’t worry. Dollywood is up and running and opened for the season back in March.
