This will mark the first time the two Canadian rockers have performed under the Guess Who moniker in 23 years. The cruise is scheduled to take place February 23-27. The seagoing music festival will embark from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and will visit Ocho Rios, Jamaica, before returning to port.

The Guess Who lineup will be rounded out by several members of Cummings’ solo band. They are drummer Sean Fitzsimons, bassist Jeff Jones, percussionist Nick Sinopoli, and guitarists Tim Bovaconti and Joe Augello. In addition to Guess Who tunes, the group is expected to play select songs from Cummings’ solo catalog and by Bachman’s other famous band, Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

The last time The Guess Who performed with a lineup featuring Bachman and Cummings was in July 2003 at the Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto benefit festival at Downsview Park in Toronto.

Over the next 20-plus years, a version of the band continued to tour and record without Randy and Burton, who did not have the rights to the Guess Who name. During that same period, Bachman and Cummings occasionally toured together while also focusing on their own solo projects and performances.

In 2024, Bachman and Cummings regained the rights to The Guess Who’s name and trademark after a legal battle with two former bandmates—bassist Jim Kale and drummer Garry Peterson. This paved the way for the upcoming reunion performances.

More About Bachman and Cummings and Their Current Plans

Bachman and Cummings were the respective original lead guitarist and frontman/keyboardist of The Guess Who. Between them, they were responsible for writing or co-writing such classics as “These Eyes,” “Laughing,” “Undun,” “No Sugar Tonight,” “No Time,” and the chart-topping “American Woman.”

Randy recently has been touring with a new lineup of Bachman-Turner Overdrive. The band has U.S. tour dates mapped out from a July 18 show in Council Bluffs, Iowa, through a November 3 show in North Tonawanda, New York. BTO also recently released its first new song in decades, a hard-rocking, nostalgic tune called “60 Years Ago.”

Cummings has a bevy of 2025 solo tour dates scheduled in support of his 2024 album, A Few Good Moments. The North American summer trek runs from a June 21 concert in Edmonton, Canada, through an August 29 show in Saratoga, California.
