Starting in the early 1990s, Lollapalooza looked to shine a light on genres like heavy metal, punk rock, EDM, alternative rock, and even hip hop. Quickly becoming one of the largest music festivals in the world, the annual event not only sold out each year, but also welcomed over 400,000 fans. And getting the chance to perform during the festival was a highlight of any singer’s career. While taking a break from music, Luke Combs recently returned to the stage for Lollapalooza. But with it being such a big stage, he decided to bring Alex Warren along with him for a special duet.

Although spending a few years in the music industry, 2025 marked a big moment in Warren’s career. He not only released his debut album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, but he watched as his song “Ordinary” landed No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The WWE even used the song to honor the legacy of Hulk Hogan, who passed away at 71.
Luke Combs Becomes First Country Artist To Headline Lollapalooza
Among Warren’s growing fandom, it seemed that Combs was also a fan of the singer when he introduced him at Lollapalooza. Easily one of the biggest performances of Warren’s career, the night also marked the latest milestone for Combs, who became the first country artist to headline the famed festival.
Knowing how special the night was for them both, Warren and Combs didn’t let the thousands in attendance down when they performed not just “Ordinary” but also “She Got The Best Of Me.”
Thankfully, fans in attendance captured the special Lollapalooza moment and shared it online. As for the comments, they read, “My favorite small artist isn’t such a small artist anymore. So proud of how far he has come.” Another person added, “Luke is like Kelly Clarkson. You never want him covering your song. Lol.”
Gaining praise from fans, Lollapalooza was just getting started. Running until August 3rd, the music festival promoted dozens of artists and bands like Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, T-Pain, and more. To close out this year’s festival, on Sunday, Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky are scheduled to perform.
