When preparing to take the stage for a concert, most singers and performers run through one last checklist, hoping to produce the perfect performance. But that hope doesn’t always become a reality as the unexpected happens. Over the years, there have been countless videos of mishaps, meltdowns, and everything in between. And for Megan Moroney, she found herself making headlines when she fell onstage. Although making the most out of the moment, her fall happened when she went to sing “Am I Okay?”

Megan Moroney is Indeed “Okay”
On Friday night, Moroney walked on stage at the 2025 Boston Calling Festival. Thrilled about the performance, the country singer appeared all smiles as she walked out. The only problem, rainy weather caused the stage to be a little slippery. Although taking it slow, Moroney stumbled, causing her feet to fly from under her.
While Moroney took her spill gracefully, fans felt like she missed a perfect opportunity to grace the crowd with some wordplay—she was singing “Am I Okay?” after all.
“She had the opportunity to say ‘I’m okay’ and didn’t,” one fan wrote. “She is in fact ok, go queen,” another fan added. Continuing with the puns, another social media user noted, “I would have been like ‘I’m ok.’”

Megan Moroney Has The Making Of A Star, According To Country Singer
Crashing to the ground, Moroney embraced the moment as she crossed her legs and flashed a smile at the crowd. Thankfully, the country star wasn’t hurt during the mishap, but many fans found it hilarious that it happened when trying to perform “Am I Okay?” And for those wondering, yes, Moroney was okay from her fall.
Somewhat new to country music, Moroney has wasted little time making a name for herself in the genre. Just last year, she got the opportunity to hit the road alongside Kenny Chesney. Seeing the commitment, drive, and passion Moroney had for country music, Chesney insisted, “She was so great out there…and she’s building her own beautiful, wonderful audience, and that’s exciting to watch. The amount of people coming to her own shows now, and the way she’s presenting herself, I don’t know, I think she has the opportunity to do exactly what she’s saying.”
Although every singer wanted to build a massive following, Chesney revealed why he thought Moroney had the chance. “I think she will because she’s a great songwriter, she cares about the music, and she’s putting music first, and that’s always a recipe for success.”
