July 5th will mark a historic moment in heavy metal as Ozzy Osbourne will take the stage one last time with Black Sabbath. Labeled the “Back to the Beginning” concert, the night will feature numerous hit bands wanting to honor the legacy of Black Sabbath and Ozzy. With the Prince of Darkness slated to perform during the concert, tickets for the event sold out in a matter of minutes. The response from fans was so great that organizers also sold tickets to stream the event. With a night full of heavy metal, Sharon Osbourne revealed the two acts she wished could be there to honor Ozzy.

Speaking with Music Business Worldwide, Sharon explained how the event was a celebration of music. With Blake Sabbath and Ozzy helping inspire generation after generation, she said, “It became a celebration of the music. All the generations are going to be there that Sabbath and Ozzy have passed the torch down to. The only place that we could do it would have been Aston, because that’s where Ozzy was born and grew up, which is right where the Villa ground is.”
Taking over the Villa Park in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Sharon loved the lineup they had produced. But if it was up to her, she would have added two acts. “There are two bands that we would have loved to have been there, but they couldn’t because they’re working that day. And that was Judas Priest, a local band, and Angus Young from AC/DC, because he’s always been a huge supporter of Ozzy’s.”
Where To Watch Ozzy Osbourne Perform One Last Time
When Ozzy expressed his dream to perform with Black Sabbath one last time, Sharon quickly got to work. Hoping to make his dream come true, she knew the capabilities of her husband, who continued to struggle with health problems. That gave Sharon an idea. Knowing the impact Ozzy had on heavy metal, she turned to that genre for help. “Ozzy can’t perform for two and a half hours anymore. So then I thought of having all the bands he’s ever had relationships with perform and maybe do Sabbath songs and Ozzy songs. I started to ask really close friends, and they were, like, ‘Sure, yeah.’”
With the stage set and more than one option to watch, don’t miss Ozzy’s final performance on July 5th. For those without a ticket, they can head over Back to the Beginning to purchase a streaming ticket.
