Post Malone Gifts Young Nashville Musicians With a Surprise $500,000 Donation

Other than being one of the biggest pop stars on Earth, Post Malone is also one of the kindest celebrities currently basking in the limelight. Time after time, Malone has donated money, left large tips for service workers, and generally, not let his celebrity status affect his humble and generous nature. He proved that to be true once again as Malone recently donated $500,000 to the charity, Notes for Notes.

The $500,000 donation is in partnership with the fast-food chicken joint, Raising Cane’s. The partnership between Post Malone and Raising Canes has been in play ever since Posty released his debut country album, F-1 Trillion. In the early phase of the partnership, Malone and the chicken joint sold limited edition double-sided posters around the album’s release.

Though now, Malone and Raising Cane’s founder/CEO, Todd Graves, have transitioned into more philanthropic pursuits. For this particular donation, Malone and Graves showed up at the Notes for Notes studio in Nashville, Tennessee, grabbed some photos, and celebrated the donation with the charity’s participants

About Post Malone’s Donation to ‘Notes for Notes’

Founded in Santa Barbara, California, in 2006, the charity was founded to provide support for public school musical programs in the area. Since then, the organization has slightly evolved, as it now “provides youth with FREE access to music instruments, instruction and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive influence in their lives,” per their website.

That being so, it seems Malone’s donation will help support the next generation of Nashville-based musicians by providing them with the opportunity to learn, play, produce, and record the music of their choosing. So, in addition to Malone’s donation impacting individuals immediately, it also seemingly aims to invest in Music City’s youth as they age, develop, and follow their dreams.

In all, Malone and Graves’ donation will ensure that every kid can have the chance to learn and play music if they so desire. Props to Post Malone and Graves for giving back and paying it forward. This isn’t Malone’s first time doing something like this, and it surely will not be the last.
