It will be Team Reba for the win this year at CMA Music Fest.
Reba McEntire will bring a special exhibit featuring some of her most prized memorabilia to Fan Fair X at CMA Fest this year, including her famous spinning chair from The Voice.
Dubbed Reba House, the country queen has made the space an immersive, multi-sensory fan experience. Fans can sit in her Voice chair, visit her Happy’s Place Tavern from her NBC series Happy’s Place, take pictures in a photo booth, peep her shoe collection from REBA by Justin Boots, peruse her exclusive line of clothes from Dillard’s, and see her Funko Pop! Display. In addition, fans can take a look at her book Not That Fancy, which blends stories, recipes, and Reba-isms. There will be a wardrobe display of her iconic outfits, including her famous red dress and exclusive merchandise.
Guests at Reba House can also pre-order the country queen’s latest album, The Hits, on exclusive vinyl, available October 31. Reba the Rodeo Queen
Fans who are already in Music City can catch Reba when she headlines Nashville’s first rodeo tonight (May 29). The Music City Rodeo is May 29 – May 31 at Bridgestone Arena. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The rodeo will start at 6:30 and run until 9 p.m. Music begins at 9 p.m. Jelly Roll will headline May 30, and Tim McGraw is set for May 31.
The rodeo caps a busy month for McEntire. She hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards for the 18th time – a record – in early May. McEntire joined Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert on the show to debut her new single, “Trailblazer. Written by Lambert, Wilson, and Brandy Clark and produced by McEntire and Tony Brown, “Trailblazer” is a tribute to the genre’s pioneering women who kicked the doors down for future generations.
Lyrics include: Everybody needs a hero| Somebody who can show ’em the ropes| You gave a match like me a little kerosene| With every song you wrote| I’m lucky to have someone to lean on| When the weeds get high| A little Louisiana twang and some Oklahoma rain| And a heart that just won’t lie
“I’m talking about women who broke down doors and lifted each other up for all of us in this room to do what we love to do so much,” McEntire explained at a Variety event. “I wouldn’t be standing here without the strong, fearless trailblazers who came before me.”
“Trailblazer” is out now.
