2024 was a banner year for Riley Green. He and fellow Alabamian Ella Langley were everywhere with their cheeky collab “You Look Like You Love Me.” Then, the former Division 1 quarterback announced his headlining ‘Damn Country Music’ Tour, set to kick off later this year. It’s no wonder that his dad, Kevon, is bursting with pride at his son’s accomplishments. Recently, an adorable video of Kevon Green soaking in Riley’s success began making the rounds on social media.

Fan Captures Kevon Green’s Fatherly Pride
Riley Green rang in the New Year alongside Ella Langley with a Dec. 31 show at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, Oklahoma. The “Don’t Mind If I Do” collaborators gave fans one hell of a show, but seemingly no one enjoyed it more than Kevon Green.
TikTok user @BrittneySchober caught the CMA Award winner’s father silently taking everything in during his son’s performance. Watch Kevon’s face positively shine with pride in the video below. Try not to cry when he gives his son a fatherly wave at the end of the performance.
“He said hell yeah that’s my boy,” one TikTok user commented.
Another added, “His nod of approval after looking around at all the people loving Riley. Gosh, I’m sobbing.”
Kevon Green turned 79 on Jan. 1, and there was no place he’d rather be than watching his son do what he loves. At one point during the show, Riley Green asked fans to sing “extra loud” for his old man’s birthday.
“79 years old never looked so good, Pops,” he said.
