Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Daughters Join Country Star for Heartfelt Tribute Performance of “Last Dollar (Fly Away)” at Music City Rodeo

On paper, Tim McGraw held over two dozen No. 1 hits, starred in films like Friday Night Lights, and married country music star Faith Hill. But at his heart, he is a father of three children. Although his life was surrounded by accolades and thousands of screaming fans, like any dad – there was no contest when it came to his daughters. And on Saturday, he made his return to the stage after a year away, but again – he couldn’t help but make the moment about his family and girls.

Having to undergo surgeries over the last year, McGraw made the tough decision to take a break from the stage. Not wanting to leave the spotlight just yet, he focused on his recovery, promising fans he would return. Keeping that word, the singer thrilled fans at the Music City Rodeo.

Although offering an array of his hit songs, McGraw decided to bring his daughters, Audrey, Maggie, and Grace, out while performing “Last Dollar (Fly Away).” With McGraw starting the song, he soon stepped away from the mic, allowing the light to hit his daughters. They overtook the song, but it wasn’t their performance that was touching – it was the video that played in the background, showing them singing the same song as kids.

Tim McGraw Not The Only Singer In The Family

While time appeared to fly by, McGraw soaked in the moment as his daughters fought back emotion. For Gracie, the stage wasn’t new to her as she pursued a career on Broadway with a role in the musical Babe. And for Audrey, she followed in her father’s footsteps when she released her new song “Thunder” just last month.

With fans loving the moment between McGraw and his daughters, some couldn’t help but notice that one person was missing – Hill. Given the touching moment, fans wondered why Hill decide to skip it. Looking over the last year, Hill made some interesting career choices. Not explaining her decision, the country star vanished from social media, which isn’t unusual for artists.

Not completely disappearing, Hill did star in the Paramount+ series 1883 alongside McGraw. But since then, the singer took a break from the limelight, leaving fans with questions and concerns.
