The performance wasn’t the most exciting part of the night, though. That came when Kid Rock, who was born Robert James Ritchie, finished singing a cover of Free’s 1970 hit, “All Right Now.”
When he finished performing the song, the fur coat-clad singer, who at one point lifted up his shirt and performed a belly roll for the crowd, tried to get the attention of someone off stage.
“Can I get that bag of money right now?” he sang, while pointing off stage.
Lo and behold, a man with a bag of money appeared and handed Kid Rock a stack of cash. The singer proceeded to ask the crowd, “Who wants some money?” before tossing the stack into the pit.
Kid Rock soon got another pile of bills. He initially went to hand the whole thing to one person, but changed his mind and instead threw the stack into the crowd.
Kid Rock’s 2025 Plans
Kid Rock kicked off 2025 by performing at the Make America Great Again victory rally ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
“So looking forward to playing for WE THE PEOPLE today at The MAGA Victory Rally!” he wrote in part on Instagram. “… Hope to be able to finally celebrate not only this historic election but my B-day as well after I perform! Hopefully with a few cold Victory Beers… Gonna be an epic year for all I feel! America is so back!”
He’ll go on to play several shows over the summer with Rock the Country, a music festival that’s set to be held in 10 small towns. Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Hank Williams Jr. are some of the festival’s other headliners.
In March, he’s set to head out on the road for a series of concerts with Chris Janson. He’ll continue into April, but switch his tour mate to Uncle Kracker.
