“We Are Unable To Put on the Show”: The Reason Chris Stapleton Was Forced To Cancel the Start of His Tour

For most fans, getting the chance to see Chris Stapleton live in concert is more than enough to make the perfect weekend. But thanks to his All-American Road Show, fans received more than they bargained for as the country star hit the road with none other than country music legend himself, George Strait. With both singers on the schedule, the All-American Road Show quickly became one of the hottest tours in 2025. But sadly, fans in Greenville, South Carolina will have to wait a little longer to see Stapleton on the stage as the singer recently postponed his show.

While having to share the news with thousands of fans who bought a ticket is never a great experience, Stapleton’s reason was out of his control. Sharing a post on Instagram, the singer revealed that some of the equipment used for his concert was damaged while being transported. Needing that equipment to give fans the best show, the country singer decided to postpone until the equipment was replaced.

Posting a picture on Instagram, the tour wrote, “Critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville. Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show.”

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase. Refund requests through Ticketmaster must be submitted by Tuesday, June 24.”

Offering fans the chance to wait or get a refund, most will surely wait for the chance to see Stapleton take the stage. “Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to seeing you on July 9.”

Outside of Stapleton and Strait, the tour also welcomed special guests like The War & Treaty, Allen Stone, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Grace Potter, Brittney Spencer, and many more.
