Markies Conway, a.k.a. Yella Beezy, was indicted by a grand jury in Dallas County on Tuesday, March 18. His official charge is capital murder while remuneration. That particular charge involves paying or soliciting the murder of another person, without directly committing the murder themselves. The 33-year-old rapper has been accused of hiring a hitman named Kewon White to murder Mo3, a.k.a. Melvin Noble. White has also been arrested for the attack.

There is little information via court records on why the court believes that Conway hired a hitman to murder Noble, or what his potential motive could have been. Just as well, court records do not list any attorneys associated with Conway.

Back in 2020, Noble was driving his vehicle on Interstate 35 in Dallas, Texas when White drove up next to him, got out of his car, and brandished a firearm. Noble allegedly left his car and ran across the freeway as White began to shoot at him. Noble, along with a bystander who was in their car, was shot. The unnamed bystander survived the ordeal, while Noble passed away after being taken to the hospital.

Another individual named Devin Brown was also indicted in relation to Noble’s murder. Their cases are currently pending.

Yella Beezy’s Music Career Could Be In Jeopardy

The recent indictment in Texas isn’t the first time Yella Beezy has gotten into trouble. In 2018, Conway survived a near-fatal shooting while driving through a toll in Lewisville, a Dallas suburb. An individual pulled up in a vehicle beside him and began shooting, and Conway was struck three times.

If convicted for his alleged involvement in Noble’s death, Conway would go to prison for quite some time. This could easily put an end to his burgeoning music career. Conway is known for his hit 2017 song “That’s On Me” as well as the 2019 track “Bacc At It Again”, a collaboration with Gucci Mane and Quavo. He also started to gain notoriety for the 2019 song “Errybody”. Noble has nearly one million Instagram followers, and his fans have been buzzing about the recent indictment since it occurred on March 18.
