Zach Bryan wasn’t kidding about taking a break from touring. After the singer previously said that he plans to stop playing shows, he started putting that change into motion.

Bryan recently announced that he will play Notre Dame Stadium on Sept. 9. He will be joined at the show by Shane Gillis and Dermot Kennedy.

“This will be one of the last shows we announce,” Bryan wrote in his post. “Thank you guys for understanding the boys and me taking time away from the road. Couldn’t go without having some of the most talented people I know play with me out at Notre Dame.”

Bryan concluded the message, “Love you guys and feel more blessed by the day.”

In addition to the newly-announced show, Bryan will play Stagecoach in April, before traveling to Europe for a string of shows in June. Afterwards, he’ll take the stage in New Jersey and California. Bryan’s last scheduled show is set to take place in Michigan on Sept. 27.

Zach Bryan Is Done With Life on the Road

Bryan spent much of 2024 on the road for his Quittin’ Time Tour. Over the months, Bryan said multiple times that the tour would be his last ever.

As for what he plans to do after his shows wrap, Bryan revealed in a November Instagram post that he “quit touring because I got accepted to get my masters in Paris.”

New music from Bryan is still on the way, though. In January, Bryan revealed that he’ll be releasing a new EP and album in 2025.

He’s already released some new tracks this year. After the Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl, Bryan celebrated by releasing “Blue Jean Baby.”

He similarly promised to release a new song if the Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. He followed through by dropping “Dear Miss” shortly after the Eagles’ 40 to 22 win.

He’s also teamed up with Jack Van Cleaf for a new version of “Rattlesnake” and teased tons of new music on Instagram.
