Foxtrot and the Get Down, a Philadelphia-based group, are unveiling a new track today entitled “Home With Me,” a rockin’ blues-infused banger.
The cut is promoted by a new video as well, which was shot in one continuous take that pulls the viewer right into the liveliness and action of a Foxtrot and the Get Down performance.
“The song serves as a one-way conversation between a man and a young woman with a history of abusive relationships,” the band explained. “The central theme of the conversation going on is that although the past shapes you, it doesn’t determine the possibility of what the future could be.”
