In a preview of her blind audition, Scott nailed a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire,” earning chair turns from both John Legend and Kelsea Ballerini.

While the clip hinted that Team Kelsea would be Scott’s choice, fans will have to wait to find out which coach she picks until The Voice airs on NBC Monday, Feb. 10 at 8/7c. Until then, here are three quick facts about the singer.

She’s Been Releasing Music Since 2020

A quick scroll through Scott’s Spotify profile shows releases dating back to 2020, when the then-teen released two tracks—”Age of Seventeen” and “Dear Future Me.” She has continued to release at least one single a year since then, some original tracks and some covers. In 2024, she released two original songs—”Won’t Be You” and “Lady Bug”—as well as a cover of Justin Bieber’s holiday tune, “Mistletoe.”

She Frequently Posts Covers

It’s no surprise that Scott’s Olivia Rodrigo cover was such a hit. The singer, who was born in North Carolina and now lives in Nashville, often takes to her Instagram to share videos of herself singing popular tunes. Over the last year, Scott nailed covers of Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck, Babe,” Kelsea Ballerini’s “Sorry, Mom,” Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” and Teddy Swims’ “Loose Control.”

She’s a Kelsea Ballerini Stan

Scott made no secret of whose team she was hoping to land on during her blind audition. As soon as she finished performing “Vampire,” Scott turned her attention to Kelsea Ballerini and the women quickly bonded over a shared city and style. On Instagram, Scott is equally open about her love for the “Penthouse” songstress. Scott has posted covers of several Ballerini songs, praised the coach in a post, and even revealed that she attended the Nashville stop on the singer’s ongoing tour. While John Legend tried his best to sway Scott over to his team, we’re putting our money on Ballerini to land the up and comer.
